John Ostendorf presented David Schenkman with 1st and 3rd place Literary Awards. Dennis Wells couldn’t make it, but his 2nd place award will be sent to him.

New Member Lee Hise, teacher and owned a coin shop in Lubbock, Texas. Lee studies Civil War history of the west and uniforms and enjoys re-enacting.

John Ostendorf delivered the Secretary’s and the Treasurer’s reports. The meeting was well attended by approximately 30 this year.

New Member John Torres has been collecting Civil War tokens for about 10 years and is putting together a high-quality collection. Other interests include early copper and Hard Times tokens.
